A Family History - Susan Baskett Lovely
Read about a Medical Achievement Award given to L.W. "Mac" Baskett, MD.
Since 1953, my father, Dr. Lindsay M. Baskett has practiced medicine in Livingston.
I remember accompanying him as a young girl on house calls up the Boulder, Shields and Paradise Valleys - so I could admire the horses. His most recent famous house call was when Kristin Scott Thomas had an earache while filming "A Horse Whisperer" with Robert Redford high in the Mountains up the Boulder. He dusted off his old bag and off he went. He didn't charge for that one!"
Susan B. Lovely"I am proud of my Montana heritage. My Grandfather, Dr. Lindsay W. Baskett was a country doctor in Big Timber between 1917 and 1962. He even traveled by horse and buggy on house calls around the hills and valleys of Sweet Grass County. "
